Another nightmare about going back to high school

Dammit, another dream about not finishing high school

And I missed the first day of class so I started falling behind on… advanced multivariable calculus??? Since I already finished the multivariable calculus series

And it's a high school, so this teacher is too dumb and unqualified to teach calculus, just like when Mr R——- was teaching AP Calculus in 11th grade

And for some reason the high school had to do bionic surgery on my hand in order to attend, so they put bungee cord into my hand to clot the surgery.

But then the bungee cord fell out and now I had a "dry socket" akin to the painful complication after wisdom teeth extraction

And the high school students kept coming up to me but I didn't have the heart to tell them uh I am not a high school student

Did Los Angeles rain kill my laptop?

I woke up this morning and realized that my backpack honestly did not protect the interior contents, including my laptop, against the rain properly from the night before. I am writing this from my laptop. When I opened my laptop, I found that there was water inside the fold of the laptop, and now I'm worried that some of the water has gotten into the keyboard. So I am freewriting because I think there's something a little bit off about my keyboard, namely that it's a little bit "sticky" / "laggy" when I push the space bar. Ugh.

This isn't the first time I've gotten water on a laptop I owned. In 2012 I think I spilled my water bottle all over the keyboard and completely wrecked my laptop to where it wouldn't turn on anymore. It wasn't fun. Fortunately, the Apple store fixed it for $150, but still. Horrifying.

Oh god. Not sure how this is all going to fare.

P.S. as a memento the rain is really bad in Los Angeles right now for some reason. Kind of a fluke. Could be climate change.

Update 02/11/2023: It did NOT end up killing my laptop! It's in perfectly good health
