Bye 2009-Welcome 2010, Age of the Oil

Okay, today I will be ranting about the "wonderful" 2010! Now, we all know about this:

So, as I was saying, this BP company had a massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. What? It's been like 2 3/4 months already, until they finally get something that will work to close that hole. FINALLY! Well, now we've got to clean those MILLIONS of gallons of oil killing animals like this picture above. But for now, we know another MILLION gallons of oil isn't going in the ocean from that same hole.

Here's the thing, guess what I saw in the news today?

YAAAAY! More oil for more animals to die! That's just great! It just seems that our needs for oil causes more problems than our economy problem. Don't forget, now some people even LOSE THEIR JOBS because of the oil killing sea life. (Ex: Fishing)

Well, I guess I am done ranting about 2010 and its oil spills....

KEEP ON SMELLING!

  1. Wow, Legoman, I'm very glad that you've decided to post something about the horrible oil spills lately. That's why it's important for all of us to recycle and use less energy. It's also a great reason to develop more renewable energy sources (like wind turbines, solar, etc.).

I'm glad to see that you're taking some interest in the future of our environment and world!
