Hawaii Trail to Twin Waterfall

Imagine a beautiful forest, with moist trees that have that slightest drop of water. Imagine the sound of the rushing water down a stream. Imagine the beauty. You are at the Hawaii Twin Waterfalls in Maui. I was there, and let me show you some pictures and I'll talk about it.

Down the trail, there is a plant that closes when you touch it. It closes as a defense mechanism:

Here are some pictures of the trail...

These are obviously trees... :)

Plants...

And now, the waterfall!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA! Tricked you! That's just a small amount of stray water that I zoomed in on! Keep reading for the real thing:

On the trail, to get to the waterfall, you have to walk through mud and running water. You have to be very careful that you don't slip on rocks, while cross over really tiny planks when approaching large bodies of water.
This is a picture of my shoe in the water!

Now, the moment you've been waiting for:

I found walking in the mud and getting shoes all soggy was worth the view!
Except...
It started to rain-HARD! The end.
