Head String:
To make the head string (I added it because without it, the chick looked more like a robber) get a decent amount of black yarn, about 3 centimeters bigger than the circumference of your chick's head. Wrap it around your chick's head and tie a knot on ONE of the ends, but don't pull completely. Instead, insert the OTHER end of the string in that knot as well, just before you close it. Now you call pull the string tightly and adjust it. Trim the yarn to make it even, and you're done!
