I thought this recycling center they have on Club Penguin is pretty neat! If you throw a snowball, it turns into recyclable waste. (This place is located near the mines)

"You'll meet everyday characters, such as Friction, who slows down your bike, and the superfast Neutrinos, who are out of this world. They are a dashing group, full of pizzazz, and they're all here waiting for you..."*
Sounds like your everyday comic book with your everyday heros and their awe-inspiring characteristics, huh? Guess what: you've just read a passage from a science book...
EEK!!!

Recycle Crayons with Crazy Crayons

What are you going to do? Cry? Whine? Oh well, I guess we can only throw them in the trash...

| The landfill is so evil, it created a typo! |
Are you crazy or something?!?! Unless you want me to STRANGLE YOU, don't throw these potential goods away. Instead, simply recycle them with the company, Crazy Crayons!
This company's instructions are very simple: Fill a box w/ your pooped out crayons, ship it to them, and done. They'll do the rest and melt them into new, fun shaped crayons. You can't really question their expertise considering that they have already recycled 72,000 pounds worth of these otherwise thrown-away writing utensils.

I must say, this is a great alternative for Terracycle, because they aren't accepting them yet.

Club Penguin 'Gloos: Fire Dungeon

The best way to display this igloo that I found (thanks to CP username Lot9) was to see it not in an image, but in a short clip.
The fire is quite dazzling, as it is what makes up the "meat" of the igloo. An igloo such as this one is quite fun, but my browser slowed down the longer I stayed. (It eventually crashed.)

I give this igloo 1.5 stars. I would give it 2, but because it slowed down my browser, I had no choice but to take off half a point. The style is fun and would intimidate your penguin friends, but let's face it- you'd get bored of it really quickly. There's not much room for your penguin to move around other than the walkway, either. If you're not all for this igloo, then I'd advise against putting it together because you'd want to clear it away after 5 minutes or so.

A Fun Little Ziploc Cartoon

I was browsing the Internet for any interesting "going green" articles, when I stumbled upon a fun little cartoon by Ziploc. A great way to exhibit the curbside recycling process and why plastic bags should be set aside to be sent specific recycling facilities.
Did you notice that near the end when the mother holds the list, the first thing it shows recyclable are Ziploc Bags?

A while back, I was using these animations that were monkeying around, such as
Some of you were asking as to where I got these animated guys. So, today, I wanted to share exactly how:
1. Go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/images/. That shouldn't be too hard.
2. Type in the search bar what you're looking for, and click the box next to animations so that it is animations only.
3.You should get something like this:
4. Right click, or ctrl click the image you'd like. Then click copy image location or copy image address.
5.Now, you paste that text into any image adding thingy. (I used blogger's "add image" for example). Then go under, "from a URL".
And...
~Voila!

Bath Tissue! Go Green!

The wiping roll.
That's right. Even though recycling the actual TP is practically impossible, (although if that were possible, we would save a lot of trees. And I mean a LOT!) the packaging and core shouldn't go to waste. The core obviously can be recycled under the paper category, while the plastic outer wrapping can go under plastic. The problem is, only some of the recycling facilities accept it because this stuff will probably jam their systems. No need to worry! You can always send it to Terracycle, shipping paid free.
So NOW there SHOULDN'T be any reason for another core or plastic wrapping to end up in the evil landfill. Oh, and, this is vice versa with paper towel rolls.

iPhone/ iPod Touch App Review: "The Most Addictive Game"
at
7:50 AM
By
EcoWarrior
Here's a fun little game on your phone or Touch to keep you entertained. There's just one rule: move out of the way of the blue blocks and don't hit them or the wall.
During gameplay, you use your finger to move around the red block in the center.
The blue blocks slowly increase in speed as they move around the whole area.
You must avoid those and the wall for as long as you can.
I'd give this 4 stars, because for some weird reason, it really is addictive!

Hello Kitty Yogurtland
It may not be of much interest, but seeing these collaborations has always been a welcome change that I've looked forward to. I have to admit, I seem to be going to Yogurtland more with the cute cups and spoons. It's also fun to collect them, as they won't be there forever. (As a side note, if you are to collect them, put them somewhere safe as people are likely to throw them away accidentally *_*) Tell us what you think down in the comments!

A Nifty Little BPA-Free Container

![]() |
One thing I noticed is how fast a single baby goes through containers of Plum Organics Super Puffs. (I've seen one go through three of these thingies in just a week!) I must say, they simply love it! What I like the most, though, is that this company (Plum Organics) is very eco-friendly. They boast that their plastic container is BPA free. Look at that. Now I simply love it!
Although it can be recycled, (they boasted that, too) I was kinda in a "reusable" mood. So I washed it, removed the plastic, and ended up with a nifty little BPA free container to hold whatever I want (such as snacks, coins, etc). If you wanted, you could use glitter, markers, and stickers to decorate it as your own personal container. Cool, huh?

Disney Club Penguin's Nyan Puffle!

Many of you out there are quite familiar with Nyan Cat, the popular video of the 8-bit poptart cat dancing across space followed by a rainbow. Club Penguin has decided to spoof it, and here is their result: Nyan Puffle, an orange puffle in a poptart box flying through the box dimension.

Pretty Pet Salon App Review
My Review
I found the game is very appealing considering it's free price. However, I found myself constantly downloading more apps to get the Pet Points in order to purchase more upgrades. This has always been distasteful to me in an app, but as necessary part to keep it free, which I respect. The gameplay is an easy to pick up game, but once you get to higher levels, I found myself playing it less and less. I'd rate it 2.5 stars out of 5. I liked it, but hated it at the same time.
Comment your thoughts and reviews too :)

Balloon Amigurumi Pattern
Hi! CoraFan, back with another crochet pattern! This time, a cute balloon amigurumi. These are great for left over yarn. You could use them to attach to a present, as a mobile, or just for the fun of it. Hope this is fun little project, and leave any questions or comments, in the comments. ^-^ Use this pattern as you like, however, please give credit and link back to this website/post. Thanks!
Terracycle: the Awesomeness of Upcycling
at
9:36 AM
By
EcoWarrior

This company is all about going green, while at the same time, making green. Founded initially by selling worm poop as fertilizer in a reused bottle, they have grown much more than anyone ever imagined. Today they're making deals with Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and the big guys.
They've been using this method (started in 2007) called Sponsored Waste Upcycling.

Capri Sun, Honest Kids, Frito Lay, Huggies, Paper Mate, and many others pay shipping and offer rewards to individual organizations (schools, clubs, teams, and the like) to collect and send in typically un-recyclable waste to Terracycle to be recycled, or "upcycled" into cool and exotic new products such as backpacks made from juice pouches, kites out of Oreo wrappers, and waste bins created by pelletizing chip bags.
Cool, huh? I like to call them "the second line of defense" for keeping rubbish out of the landfills.
You can join a Terracycle Brigade yourself at terracycle.net, while at the same donating to a charity or school of your own choice!

The insanity you've just read was simply the work of the amazing app, Mad Libs. That's right- they've made it so easy to create a Mad Lib, that even a gorilla could create one by pressing a bunch of buttons on a tap screen.
Although, like many others, this app has it's ups and downs. For example, it's much more convenient to bring your iphone/ ipod touch than to lug a pad and a pencil (that needs to be sharpened) into a car during a road trip. But then again, people tend to get seasick playing on their phone in the car. Or the fact that you're not wasting trees (for paper) by using the application. While on the other hand, you are still leaving a footprint by using electricity (to charge your electronic device).
You may understand that these pros and cons are simply at a tie. So, I've decided to give it a neutral 2.5 stars; The choice is yours to make.
Now tell US what YOU think of this application by leaving a comment below. Thanks! And keep on smelling!

I found the coolest little eco-friendly widget. The meaning of it was to prove that even un-recyclable waste can also have new life!
Click on any of the objects, and they'll turn into reused consumer products.
This widget thing-of-a-bob was brought to you by the amazing going green company, Terracycle. To learn more about them and their green awesomeness, visit terracycle.net.

Ouch! Summer's Almost Over

EcoWarrior
Oh no! 2/3 of this summer has faded away already! With this as our last month, we've got to spend our speeding time wisely. Got no clue? Let us give you a hint: being awesome by keeping up with Smellityet. "What do you mean, Legoman?" Well, like the speed of how fast the coming month will go by, so will a horde of new and improved posts. This month only we shall have a special of delivering a post every other day.
Let me say that again: every other day. And again: every other day. And again: every other day.
Okay, I kinda got out of hand there. I just like those bold letters, they're just so fun!
Anyways, here's the game plan: You simply remain awesome, step back, and watch a division of posts pass through your eyes in a month!
Keep on smelling!
