"You'll meet everyday characters, such as Friction, who slows down your bike, and the superfast Neutrinos, who are out of this world. They are a dashing group, full of pizzazz, and they're all here waiting for you..."*
Sounds like your everyday comic book with your everyday heros and their awe-inspiring characteristics, huh? Guess what: you've just read a passage from a science book...
EEK!!!
[Suspense... yeah... with the creepy music...]
Simon Basher and Dan Green have created a series of science books so amazing, you'll even want to read it while sitting in the lavatory. (Well, maybe...)
What is so intriguing about it? Well, (1) The fact that all the elements of physics virtually have their own personality; (2) The coolio cartoons and the extraordinary design of the book. I found this a fun and enjoyable way learn just about everything there is to learn about physics without dully "learning" it. I would recommend this book to every human being alive, and would give this 5+ stars.
Equip yourself with this book, and you'll never fall asleep again when you hear someone say something about gravity- ever.
You can purchase this book or virtually "look inside" it at Amazon.com.
