Minecraft! Old Pictures

I took a bunch of pictures of this rather "blocky" online game known as Minecraft all the way back in March. Since I needed to free up space on my computer, I decided not to let these pics go to waste, so here they are. You may have some difficulty if you are unfamiliar with this game, but I'll try my best to walk you through them.

These are a bunch of chests (used for depositing items) in a storage room.

There is a lot of mining involved in Minecraft (hence the name), and here I am in a slow process of mining what is known as obsidian, which is used to make portals and provides a strong wall defense during wars.

A nice scenic image of the blocky world, while I have in the lower right hand corner a pork chop.

I am shearing multi-colored sheep for their multicolored wool. I hope it's not artificial...

It appears that pink sheep is looking me in the eye.

If you notice behind the wall glows a name tag with the name "Notch" on it. He's the creator of Minecraft, although to this day I still wonder if that wasn't someone faking it... because they might have used a program to change their name.

Real or fake, that "Notch" pushed me into lava while crossing a bridge. Since it was capture the flag, I was supposedly a "threat," when all I wanted was a picture! :)

Fishing.

An old blacksmith I constructed.

A sandstone watchtower.

A wheat field protected by our "completely secure" dirt wall.

That's my old skin, or costume you dress your avatar in, from way back in March.

Mining... Let's hope to uncover something valuable!

I hope you enjoyed browsing these random old photos. If not, I don't blame you, this game has graphics that look worse than Pacman.

Keep on smelling!
