Poem: "Eccentric Village"

Welcome to
Eccentric Village
Here we laugh
And play

Others use piles of stone,
We add mortar, too

But no, they say
"It isn't honorable"

We're pioneers,
We try things new
Like repurposing
And wearing hats
Of blue

No,
"It isn't honorable"

And when it comes to strategy,
We paint our clothes
Green and brown

We hide in bushes,
Climb the trees
They walk straight and wear
Bright colors

Because no,
"It isn't honorable"

They kick us out of town
We don't frown
But it's okay,
We're different and we're proud
