Old Clip

I was cleaning the desktop on my computer, (yes, my desktop is overflowing, too) when I discovered this:

What is it, you ask? Well, it's a year-old-video-that-I-happened-to-forget-about-and-it-doesn't-have-sound-either-oh-well-that's-too-bad-but-then-again-I-might-have-deleted-it-anyways-so-just-go-ahead-and-watch-it. Wow, that must have been one big breath you needed to read that sentence out loud.

"Pika Pi" in Eight Bits

I when was cleaning out some old files and junk papers on my desk, I uncovered this:

What is this? I wasn't exactly sure until I stood back three feet. This was a Pikachu (Pokemon) I drew three years ago. Back away from the screen and enjoy!

Crochet Ninja Chick Pattern

Hello Smellityet viewers! Recently, I have been spending my time crocheting amigurumi. They're basically little, cute stuffed toys. Today, I've decided to try my hand at creating my own pattern, a ninja chick. I really liked the simplicity of crocheting a chick, but it didn't seem ideal for boys, so I decided to add the ninja aspect to make it more "manly." It could also be a normal ninja if you decide to use a skin-toned yarn instead of yellow and don't add a beak. If you have any questions, please ask in the comments and I'll be happy to help.

Reusing Newspaper as Wrapping Paper

"Why waste wrapping paper when you can use the Sunday Comics?"

Game: Windfall

Since today is Earth Day, I wanted to share this game I found from addictinggames.com. It's called Windfall. The scenario if the game is to build wind turbines to help the world go green. Watch out, though- citizens of the area are very picky, so be selective as to where you place the wind turbines. Try it out for yourself! :)

Club Penguin Igloos

Hey there Smellityet viewers! Today, I will be focusing this post on the people who play Club Penguin, an online virtual world. Ever got stuck on how to decorate your igloo? Didn't think it was cool enough or worthy of showing to the world? Well, listen up because we've got just the information for you!
There are many themes out there for igloos. Just below are some of my personal favorites that I've used in my igloo. Of course, each igloo took some time to make, considering the cost of the furniture. Set simple, small goals of what you want to buy, and you'll have a whole themed igloo in no time. Now, back to the igloos.

Many penguins enjoy making what they call a "college." Here, I've created a classroom, a locker room, a library, bathroom, and a hangout for all your penguins. Other things you could use for a college include: a gym, dorm rooms, and a coffee house.

Over here we have a mall for all your shopping needs! (If your shopping needs include clothes and a spa) The clothing store is rather basic with the normal necessities. The spa, on the other hand, has a salon for your penguins "hair," a waiting room with secretary, Tim, and a mani-pedi area to sit and relax.

Lastly, we have a candy themed restaurant. Not your boring fine dining restaurant, but a fun one! The doughnuts serve as waiting chairs, while the cupcakes are the tables. The mint-chip-ice cream-chairs were rather large, so I could only fit four tables. However, many penguin usually go to these restaurants alone, and prefer to sit at the counter. The marshmallows serve as the chairs over there as well.

Whatever you choose to do with your igloo, enjoy it. Exercise your interior decorating skills and go crazy. This is Cora Fan saying Keep on Smelling!

iPhone/ iTouch App Review: Rocket Bird

This bird is tired of watching all the other birds fly south every year and leave him behind. He can't fly very well due to his flimsy wings. So what does he do? He grabs a rocket and goes!

Now, it's your job to guide the bird. You simply do this by tilting the device. You may encounter trees, fences, haystacks, signs, windmills, and a cow's rear end. AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS OR IT WILL BE THE END OF THE BIRD'S DAYS! (Well, actually, it's how the game ends. Your score is based in how long you survive.)

I would rate this game four stars. The game is as easy to learn to play as Doodle Jump. As a plus, it even has cool music! Add this app to your collection of bird apps* today! :P

Poem: The Invention of the Backscratcher

I have an itch on my back
that keeps annoying me.
I find it itchier than
the sting of a bee!

I have an itch on my back
that keeps annoying me.
I told my grandma,
and she said, "Drink some tea."

I have an itch on my back
that keeps annoying me.
I told my baby cousin,
but all he said was,
"One, too, tree!"
I have an itch on my back
that keeps annoying me.
I told the homeless guy on the street.
He said, "I'll help you for a fee."

I paid the man
a buck or two.
He gave me a stick
covered in poo.

I had an itch on my back
that kept annoying me.
I now have a backscratcher,
and I'm as happy as can be!

Must Eat Birds Itouch/Iphone Review

Welcome! Today, I, Corafan, will be talking about one of my favorite apps! Now you might be wondering why to even bother reading this because the app store has reviews. That's where you're wrong. Yes, the app store has reviews, but most are ads to "put in this code on this app called _____ and get free itunes gift cards!" or unreasonable reviews. For example, in Geared 2 (a logic/ puzzle game) people gave it few stars because they "didn't like that the hamster fell off when they completed the puzzle." Now what kind of review is that? We're here to give you the real reviews, so you don't have to go searching yourself.

Must Eat Birds lite is one of the rare lite games that will satisfy you as if it were a paid app. Basically speaking, you won't really have the urge to buy the full version. This app is a simple game of slingshotting a bird above you. And, no, to answer your question, it's not like the popular app Angry Birds. The story of the game is that you don't want the birds to eat your food. Four birds down, and you lose. You drag the animal down, then release to bring it into the sky. If you aim correctly, the character will "eat" the bird (speaking of which, there is no blood, but that bird just disappears off the screen). If you do it a lot, he will start to combine and create a huge bird-eating-animal. Certain birds require you to whack at them a lot. If you have a huge character, he won't have to send three of himself to eat that bird, but instead, if he is combined with three of himself, he only needs to hit that bird once. This app is simple and can keep you entertained for hours on end. I highly recommend it if you prefer free apps and like an easy-to-pick-up-game.
