Welcome to
Eccentric Village
Here we laugh
And play

Others use piles of stone,
We add mortar, too

But no, they say

We're pioneers,
We try things new
Like repurposing
And wearing hats
Of blue

Minecraft: NPC Village Improvement

In Minecraft, raiding villages has become the norm. Looting the chests, killing the villagers, and burning the houses! MUAHAHAHAHA!

Let's be civilized and help improve these villages. After all, we trade emeralds with the caveman Squidwards.

Ahh.. Tranquil village. Let's name it Stromston.

These villagers are trapped underneath dirt and gravel, as you can see through the windows.

Oh no! Don't worry, we'll dig them out.

Their village would greatly improve if they mined coal and iron. Let's make a mineshaft!

Fixed up the town center, which is the well. Sunset.

So, what will you do the next time you see an NPC village? Raze it and plow salt into the ground or transform it into a Utopian society? It's up to you!

Minecraft: "Arrows in My Side"

One of the recent Minecraft updates now shows fired arrows stuck to players' bodies. You warriors who thirst for blood have probably already noticed by now. For the more passive Steves, here's some evidence:

The last picture's effect was created by taking a picture in Minecraft and resizing the image to really small.

The oCd (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) Minecraft Texture Pack is a 16 x 16 texture pack that does not require a fancy graphics card, yet is still quite beautiful. While other packs strive for extreme details, oCd uses only one to two colors for each block/item. The loading bar that appears while breaking blocks is a nice touch.

Good day! I've noticed that the short instruction on the How to Make an Empty/Void Minecraft Map post may be a bit confusing, so I've decided to create a more visual tutorial on the subject. I hope this clears things up a bit.

1. "Whoa." Click on Singleplayer.

2. Create New World.

3. More World Options.

4. World Type: Superflat. Customize.

5. Presets.

6. Type this: "1;12;1"

7. Use Preset.

8. Click Done.

9. Click Create New World.

10. Place down your first block.

11. Watch the sand fall. Whee!!!

Wait for all the sand to clear.
