Cheddar Bunnies Stop Motion

There are no continents except for one called Pangea. A tiny little creature pokes his head out of an egg, but is suddenly eaten by an adult!

Hello Smellityet viewers! I know I haven't been posting anything lately, but I am now! From the title above, you probably already know what this post is going to be about... That's right... TURTLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding! This really is about manga/anime. So here in this drawing, there is a wizard person doing a spell. Now it's not just any spell... For it is Avada Kedavra! If you've never heard of that, and you are sitting in a chair going,"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?", never fear because I will explain. This drawing is based upon the Harry Potter series. Mainly, it's based on the fourth book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. In that series, Avada Kedavra is the spell to kill. Now, let me explain the picture if you haven't already read that book. The girl in the picture is saying, "Avada Kedavra!", she is using the spell on the spider, the spider is dead, and there is the green flash. Don't worry! Nobody hijacked us! It was like that because smellityet.com was down to confirm renewal of domain ownership due to having one year of ownership. It's all good now!

Heh,heh,heh. What if a perfume company bought the website? Wouldn't it be funny if they knew what "smell it yet" really meant? Ha! Ha! Ha!

The Story of the Name

OK, since smellityet.com becomes one year old today, I would like to share the story of how it got its name...


... Flashback! Ha! Ha!...
(Imagine the cloudy smoke stuff :P)



It all began with my little sister, who may one day join the blog. When she was around the age of three, she would sit on anyone's lap, (well, only relatives) and all of the sudden, she would say,"Smell it yet?"
 Nobody understood a word that had meant, that is, until they smelled her nefarious gas. That's right, she'd fart, say her famous catchphrase, and run away. Nobody would hear it, either, because she let out "silent but deadly"s.  Talk about a little stinker!

We joked around about licensing the name and selling it to a perfume company for millions. Imagining a commercial with a lady smelling perfume and saying, "Ahh, smell it yet?" made us laugh so hard that we fell to the floor. Little did we know what a three year old's crazy phrase would become...

A few months later, we decided to start a blog. With the help and encouragement of our aunt and uncle, we bought a domain and set up our blogging page. There was only one thing left: a name.

 Then it hit! "Smell it yet?" It was the perfect!

And so ends this story with the creation of the world's greatest blog using a phrase accidentally invented by a toddler. You asked, I told, we enjoyed the story of the name.

Hello Smellityet viewers! Now, the thing Legoman was talking about is still under construction so be sure to check on it later. In other words, Ground Hog Day was yesterday for those of you who didn't know. Rain Rain Go Away!

If you have been experiencing the rain that's been going on in Southern California, you know how crazy it's been. The rain has been absolutely awful. I'm getting drenched all the time. MANGA MANGA MANGA!!!

Hello smellityet viewers!  You know how I promised Manga art?  Well, here it is!  This is sort of a sketch I did while I was bored, then I decided to color it.  Now, I wouldn't call myself a master at this sort of art.  If you were really able to see it in person, it would be okay.  I should have scanned it on the computer and you would have really seen the detail, but I just took a picture instead.  Don't think I drew this from just picturing in my mind and drawing.  No, I used a couple of books to help me with this.  Usually, I would make the hair look shiny, but I didn't have a lighter pink marker.  So, basically, there you have it: manga art.  It's something new I suppose.  Now, you might have also seen this sort of art already, for example, Naruto, I believe, is also manga.  So, that's about it.  Hope you like my sketch and keep on smelling! (Well, not necessarily, showers are a good thing to do every now and then)  TEE HEE!
